Recipe by Madison Skye | @madisonjskye
Ingredients
5-6 small Seckel pears, peeled
2 tablespoons salted butter, for the pan
1 cup of milk
¼ cup Original Mayo
⅓ cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
½ cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
Active Time: 20 Minutes
Full Time: 1.5 Hours
Pour the melted butter into a baking dish. Carefully swirl to coat the bottom and sides of the dish. Slice the bottom of each peeled pear, just enough so they can stand up right. Arrange around the dish.
In a blender, combine the milk, Original Mayo, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, salt, and flour. Blend on medium speed until completely smooth and lightly frothy, about 30 seconds.
Pour the batter evenly over the pears.
Bake for 50 minutes, until puffed and deeply golden on top. Serve warm, with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
